Golden Football Club of Ketu, Lagos State has emerged the winners of the Gulder Ultimate 5-A-side Football Zonal elimination tournament in Lagos Zone, beating Sholly Babes FC of Lagos Island by 3-0 with Ahmed Agbogunleri getting a brace in the 5th, 10th and 20th minutes to clinch the first position of the Lagos zone while Sholly Babes FC became the first runners up.

In the semi final, Prince FC lost 3-1 to eventual winners Golden FC while In the other semifinal match Man‘Dibber FC of Oshodi lost by 6-5 on penalty to Sholly Babes FC.

Antennah FC, Ijebu Igbo was on 18 of August 2011 emerged as the Gulder 5-A-side Football champions from the Western Region of the country after thrashing Moonstar FC of Ijebu Ode by 5-2. The game was played amidst tension and palpitation among fans of the two finalists, at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium Ijebu Ode.

The ancient city of Enugu was the ultimate centre for actions in the Gulder 5-A-side elimination tournament for the South East zone last Thursday.  The venue was Rangers FC Training ground where the Pensioneerz FC of Enugu and Inter Enugu FC have emerged champions at the Eastern zonal finals.

The two teams, after three days of football battle with over 50 teams, emerged the ultimate flag bearers of the Eastern Nigeria that will go for the knockout stage in Lagos come September 5, 2011 when all the two teams from each of the seven regions of the country will gather for the final crackers.
