The winning pitch team will be awarded a USD 25,000 Women’s Empowerment grant to empower disadvantaged women and girls in Africa, Asia/Pacific and the Middle East. The winning project must help women and girls achieve sustainable livelihoods through entrepreneurship.

His election took place recently at the 24th Annual General Conference of the association held in Mombasa, Kenya. The A conference was attended by 135 members from different member nations in Africa. Others elected into the Executive Council of APRA are Mr. Peter Mutie of Kenya as President and Ms. Christina Chima of Zimbabwe as Vice President.
